Within Supporting the resilience and Livelihood of conflict-affected communities in Idleb countryside project. The establishment for human care and development (MASRRAT) – through supporting the wheat value chain, MASRRAT Establishment purchases part of the wheat production from the targeted wheat farmers with subsidized price, to aim of supporting wheat marketing and encouraging farmers to plant this important crop in the coming season.
So, currently MASRRAT’s field team is purchasing 360 tons of wheat grain, according to its purity and quality, and 240 tons will be milled and baked, and will be distributed as free bread to the IDPs in the project area for four consecutive months, and the remaining 120 tons will be sieved, sterilized and distributed as seed for cultivation in the next season.
