As part of the project “Empowering Vulnerable Communities through Sustainable Livelihoods and Resilience Building in Northwest Syria,” implemented by MASRRAT Foundation and funded by the Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA), a Cash-for-Work activity was launched for the vegetable harvest in the village of Babka, with the participation of 33 women who are the sole providers for their families. This initiative aims to provide them with cash income and improve their living conditions.
The participating women were provided with personal protective equipment such as gloves, hats, boots, and more. They also received training from a specialized MASRRAT staff member on the principles of protection from sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA).
The activity will continue for 50 days, with working hours from 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
