As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance food security, and within the project to support the wheat value chain and livelihoods (WFiB) in Binnish district, the Humanitarian Care and Development Foundation – Masarrat implemented a cash-for-work activity in order to harvest vegetable crops in the targeted area. The activity aimed to provide temporary job opportunities for 100 beneficiaries from the most vulnerable families (95 of them female) for a period of 44 days, thus improving the income of these families and enhancing livelihoods in the community.
